I spent more of my childhood than I care to admit listing words that are ‘spelt the same but sound different’, ‘sound the same but are spelt differently’, or are ‘spelt and sound the same but mean different things’ … you get the idea.

Now I’m all grown up, I put the knowledge gleaned in those early years to good use, editing and proofreading fiction, non-fiction and web content.

I’m a Modern Languages graduate of the University of Oxford, a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), and a Partner Member of the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi).
