I can provide a sample edit or proofread so you can ‘try before you buy’. If you are comparing my work with that of other editors or proofreaders (a sensible approach!), please send us the same sample so you can accurately compare services.
Simply provide a sample of up to 2,500 words, and for £100, I’ll provide an edit or proofread and a style sheet that you can use to introduce consistency across your whole manuscript.
If you then hire me for a full edit, I will deduct the cost of the sample edit from the total amount.
You may be unsure whether you’d like to hire me for line editing or copyediting. I can provide a sample edit that shows the difference between the two services. Simply request this at the time of booking.
Price of a sample edit or proofread
For £100, I will edit or proofread up to 2,500 words of your manuscript. If you then hire me for the full edit, I will deduct the cost of the sample edit from the project.
